Overview: 2 days Gorilla tracking Rwanda trip takes you to volcanoes national park for mountain gorilla trekking experiences with a cultural tour to Iby’wacu village
Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National park
Pick up from your Kigali hotel, road transfer to Kinigi in Ruhengeri. On arrival visit Iby’wacu Village, you will have a chance to meet local people, in their environment, with a taste of our culture and traditions. Thereafter proceed to the Lodge for overnight.
In the morning, assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing from the park warden. Later proceed to the forest to track the gorillas, an activity that will take you for some hours depending on the movement of the Mountain Gorillas. After meeting and staying in the presence of the gorillas for a maximum of an hour, the guide will transfer you back to Kigali.
