This 3 days Queen Elizabeth National Park and Lake Mburo National Park safari lets you tick off two interesting savannah parks in one tour. We start off with Lake Mburo NP for an afternoon game-drive and a morning safari walk. On the second day we continue to Queen Elizabeth NP for an afternoon boat-cruise on Kazinga channel. Then to finish off the Queen Elizabeth NP and Lake Mburo NP safari we head for a morning game-drive in Queen Elizabeth NP.
Your guide picks you in the morning at your location of choice in Kampala, Entebbe or other agreed location. The safari to Queen Elizabeth NP and Lake Mburo NP then starts off. We start with Lake Mburo National Park, the ‘Zebra magnet’. Stop over and take photo poses at the equator and continue driving through Masaka. First we stop by the lodge for check-in and lunch. In the late afternoon we head out into Lake Mburo NP for a game-drive. Here we hope to see zebras, giraffes, topis, warthogs, cape buffaloes and impalas.
Overnight in Hyena Hill Lodge
Get early up for a safari walk by the lodge with chance of seeing zebras, waterbucks, birds and buffaloes in their day break jungle life! Go back to the lodge for breakfast before starting the drive towards Queen Elizabeth NP. After lunch you go for the boat cruise on Kazinga channel. This is a Classic highlight in the park and takes two hours. Kazinga channel is 36 km and links Lake George and Lake Edward. Along the shores you have high chances of spotting hippos, crocodiles, warthogs, buffaloes, elephants and much more. With your Binoculars along the peninsula you have a magnificent view of Birds. When back from the boat cruise your guide will drive you back to the lodge by Queen Elizabeth NP for dinner.
Overnight in Kazinga Wilderness
After breakfast we head out for a morning game-drive in Queen Elizabeth NP. When driving along the circuits you may spot elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, warthogs, hyenas and many more species that are residents to this scenic park. When we have concluded the game-drive it is time to start the journey back towards Kampala, Entebbe or the drop off point of your choice.
