This 3 day chimp trekking Uganda takes us to Kibale Forest National Park. This forest is famous as “the primate city” of Uganda as it is home to 13 different primates. During the safari you will experience Ugandan countryside, crater lakes and the highlight of chimpanzee trekking in Uganda’s Kibale Forest.
Chimpanzee trekking in Uganda is one of the highlights you can do here in the Pearl of Africa. Meeting our close cousins is an amazing experience. You get to walk through the jungle and then spend time studying the chimps as they go about their day.
Your guide picks you in Entebbe/Kampala or the location of your choice to start our 3 day chimp trekking Uganda safari. We then set off for the drive to Kibale Forest National Park. Along the way we travel through villages and can make a stop at a road side market. We have lunch and head over to the crater lakes region close to Kibale Forest National Park. Here you go for a crater walk taking in beautiful scenery and possible getting a sight of monkeys like black and white colobus monkey. After the walk we drive over to the lodge.

Together with your group and a specialized guide you then enter the jungle of Kibale Forest. Trekking through the jungle gives sights of birds, butterflies and impressive trees. When you reach the point where the chimpanzees are you get one hour with them. After the chimps trekking in Kibale forest your guide picks you and takes you back to the lodge.
